Development Network Platform Gambia (DNPG) is a registered charity and nonprofit organization working across The Gambia to provide a voice for the voiceless. We operate on a 100% donation policy, all our work is carried out by experienced and dedicated volunteers. Emergencies arise, disasters happen, conflicts erupt. DNPG supports and delivers aid to the affected areas. DNPG Charity Projects also include the setting up of educational institutions, solar power and water supply, helping entrepreneurs to start their own businesses and much more. We help to develop projects bringing prosperity into the lives of many unfortunate ones.

It’s easy to do great work when you believe in what you do. That’s why we’re committed to help the poor people in The Gambia that need help every day.
Contaminated Water
Kids living in urban poverty have little control or no choice about the water they consume. Water is often contaminated by fecal coliform or E. coli, which often leads to health problems. Over 90% of deaths from water-born illness are of children and youth. In the Gambia, many people spend hours each day fetching water that is not safe to drink.
Drinking Water
Development Network Platform Gambia helps to build clean water sources in the communities. Our goal has always been to work ourselves out of the job by training and equipping local people. We launch local businesses that are committed to keeping the clean water flowing long after we are gone. Drilling water wells is one of the most cost-effective ways to save lives and end extreme poverty.
Solar power
For people who have hat to live without electricity, solar power brings a new live. Self help is our priority. The villagers must help actively in the sponsored solar project.
The need
Do to poverty and corruption, there is great demand of development projects in The Gambia. Any well-thought and carefully planned project is welcome and local communities will benefit from it. Please contact DNPG, if you want to set up a local project or deliver aid.
Planning a Project
Our projects are planned together with the village committees.
Work in Progress
In order to supply water, a company bores a deep borhole, then we lay the lines, plaster, install the tank and attach solar panels. The pump then fills the tank and people have access to drinking water by using the taps.
Success
DNPG projects are accepted by the communities, because we're experienced, reliable and focused on results.
